Matt and Angi took on the Queens Hotel in September 2020, with the Queens today being run and managed by Angi, Tim and Jade. This beautiful building had been severely neglected and was in desperate need of TLC to bring it back to its well deserved, previous level of high standards and outstanding quality. This is our mission and we are committed to raising the Queens Hotel up once again.

The Queens Hotel was built in the late 19th century by a local who struck rich in the gold mines of Queensland Australia. Ever since we have been popular as a central location for visitors to Snowdonia National Park and other tourist activities and adventures. Our Hotel provides a restaurant, licensed bar, accommodation, and function room for all your needs and events.
Situated in the heart of Snowdonia, as well as its interesting history as a former slate mining town, Blaenau Ffestiniog offers a narrow gauge steam railway, the famous Llechwedd Zip World and Antur Stiniog for mountain bikers. Blaenau Ffestiniog is a popular destination for walkers with Mount Snowdon just 30 minutes by car.
We have both double and family rooms, which are clean and comfortable, all rooms have an ensuite bathroom, TV, Tea and coffee making facilities, superfast WiFi and Mountain view.

We are delighted to introduce our packed breakfasts, now included with your room stay!
Each adult staying in the room is entitled to one breakfast box, with up to two adults per room.
Special Offer: For every adult enjoying a breakfast box, the second adult eats free. All children staying in the room receive a free breakfast box.
If your booking includes 3-4 adults, an additional fee of £10 per extra adult will apply.
Breakfast Options: Upon check-in, you will be given a form at reception to choose your breakfast box.
